DELETE MULTIPLE FIELDS TOOL
Input: a feature layer or table
Output: the same feature layer or table without the fields that have been deleted

• allows the user to select multiple fields and delete them all at once

Getting started. A feature layer or table must be loaded into ArcMap in order to use this tool. Select the feature layer you wish to process from the drop-down box. The fields of this table will be added to the list box (a brief description of the field type is included). Select all the field you wish to delete by clicking the check box next to the field name. When you press the Delete button, all the selected fields will be deleted permanently (you are not asked "are you sure?", so it is essential that you ensure you have selected only the fields you wish to delete before pressing the Delete button). For safety reasons, this tool will not delete SHAPE or FID fields.
