DIGITIZE XY COORDINATES TOOL
Input: none (this is a tool that works within the map frame)
Output: a textbox displaying the X, Y coordinates of the location in the map frame that was clicked
Features:

• when this tool is active, the cursor changes to a red crosshairs, and when the map frame is left-clicked the X, Y coordinates of that location are displayed.
• the user can copy and paste those coordinates into other forms or applications

Limitations:

• none

Getting started. To activate the tool, click the icon of the red crosshairs in Hawth's Tools (see image below). To use the tool, left-click when the crosshairs is anywhere in the map frame. To switch the tool off, simply activate any other tool (e.g. the zoom in tool, or the pointer tool).
